A SPECIAL CONCERT

Conducted by George Manahan
Hosted by Christopher Mattaliano

A RED-CARPET NIGHT AT THE OPERA

Join us for a one-night-only celebration concert and enjoy some of the most beautiful music ever composed! Our chorus and orchestra take center stage, joining soloists for a special program of operatic gems and beloved arias.

Walk the red carpet, and enjoy an unforgettable night out! We’ll add to the celebration with a special reveal of our upcoming 19/20 season, and perhaps even a surprise or two.

Featuring the Portland Opera Orchestra and Chorus.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTION

Performed in many languages with English captions.
Approximately 90 minutes.

The music and lyricism of opera takes center stage with our chorus and orchestra for this special concert. This one-night-only celebration is not an opera—it doesn’t feature sets, costumes, or a full production—but it does offer listeners a chance to hear a variety of selections spanning countries, languages, composers, and eras.

The exact line-up is a surprise to be revealed the night of the concert, along with a special announcement of our upcoming season!
